Which one is better, the bishop or the knight?
Bishops and knights have their own unique set of powers, a bishop is a long-range piece, and a knight isn’t. A knight can attack on any square on the board, while a bishop is stuck forever on whatever color square it starts on. While knights can leap across the board in a single bound, bishops can only move in straight lines.
To be a good player, one needs to know when to use each one. In this lesson, Boris is going to look at the differences between a bishop and a knight, and share some tips on when to use each one.
